My literary blog, Baroque in Hackney, has been featured in Time Out magazine, The Bookaholic's Guide to Book Blogs, and many other blogs and top ten lists. It is listed in the social media listings in Mediadisk.
Baroque in Hackney is about poetry, literature, movies, writing, culture, art, life itself, my life as a working mother and writer in northeast London, current affairs, and the world. I like it to be funny, at least some of the time. I often have a feature called Elegantly Dressed Wednesday.
I update the blog most days.
My PR & copywriting blog, Text Pixels, celebrates my professional obsessions: the English language, design and type, creativity, the importance of the message, and - almost more than anything else - the joy that is in good work. I hope it also acts as a demonstration of what I can do for you. Text Pixels is brand-new, although I have imported - and re-written - some back content from Baroque in Hackney. It will be officially launched, with fanfare and pixie dust, in August 2009.
I update it about twice a week.
